Joy
Joy - Joy is a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.
There is joy in serving God. Joy in knowing if His word is followed He is pleased and therefore His promises are reaped. “Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9
When one repents of sin the angels in heaven rejoice along with the saints here on earth. The one that is obedient to the command to be baptized rejoices when the act is completed as it was with the eunuch in Acts 8:38-39.
Paul wrote in Philippians 4;4 "to rejoice in the Lord". Rejoicing in the Lord is where you will find complete joy. Joy that no man can give you and no man can take it from you. A joy that will allow you not to worry but yet give thanks. Joy that may not be seen on the outside but is overflowing on the inside.
One can even find joy in trails. Trails allow one to press on toward the goal of heaven. Once trails are over it shows how strong a person is in the Lord. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:2-3
